Hidden Curriculum

The HIDDEN CURRICULUM workshop series aims to bring attention to the soft skills and unspoken rules that are necessary for students to excel in higher arts education. Each presentation contains useful tools and skills to help emerging and established creative professionals excel in their own unique practice.

HIDDEN CURRICULUM currently consists of workshops dedicated to Creative Research, Marketing Essentials, and Communications, with more in development! Each in-person presentation includes corresponding activities, takeaways, cheat sheets, and ephemera to help make it a memorable experience for those in attendance.

The HIDDEN CURRICULUM lecture series was first introduced in collaboration with the Professional Practice Center at the Kansas City Art Institute.
